In May 1949, the experimental factory of Hongxing's predecessor, North China Wine Industry Specialty Company, was established. It later incorporated twelve old wineries including Yuanshenghao, which fully inherited the traditional brewing skills of Beijing Erguotou. As the first state-owned brewery in Beijing, the first batch of Hongxing brand Erguotou wine was brewed, offering a gift to the birth of New China. Hongxing is a time-honored Chinese enterprise and a national-level intangible cultural heritage protection unit. For more than 70 years, it has always practiced the historical mission of "making good wine for the people" and has become the leading wine on the tables of ordinary people. In 1958, Hongxing registered the trademark of "Hongxing Erguotou Wine". In 1965, Hongxing managed 19 suburban wineries and taught Erguotou skills intently, making Erguotou categories from one branch to a hundred flowers bloom; in 1997, Hongxing 56-degree sophomore year was recognized by the State Technical Supervision Bureau as the national physical standard for Erguotou wine. , become a benchmark of quality.

According to the capital's functional positioning and the requirements of Beijing's urban development planning, Hongxing has built a new production and operation pattern of "1+1+N".
