Huzhu County Weiyuan Barley Wine Industry Brewing Co., Ltd. is located in Weiyuan Town, the ancient town of the plateau. The Weiyuan Shaofang, formerly known as Hehuang, has a brewing history of more than 400 years.
The factory was expanded and renamed as Huzhu Weiyuan Town Winery in 1972. After several years of development, it was reorganized into Huzhu County Weiyuan Barley Wine Industry Brewing Co., Ltd. in 2002. The company covers a total area of 45,000 square meters and is divided into 3 factory areas of Weiyuan Town. No. 6, South Street, No. 12, North Suburb of Weiyuan Town, No. 12, (30 acres) and 20,000 square meters, Green Industrial Park (under construction) (30 acres) and 20,000 square meters; covers an area of more than 4,000 square meters, ( 6 acres) is also the location of "Weiyuan Soup" and "Weiyuan Ancient Well".
The company insists on "surviving by quality and developing by reputation". The main barley wine has more than 20 varieties, including "Weiyuan Old School", "Weiyuan Small Cellar", "Immortals Will Not Fall in the Land", "Weiyuan Shaofang", barley pulp wine, and "Snow Mountain Jiaozi" series.
