Zhejiang China Tobacco Industry Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Tobacco Corporation with a registered capital of RMB 976 million and mainly engages in cigarette production and sales business. In July 2003, Zhejiang Tobacco implemented industrial and commercial division and established Zhejiang China Tobacco Industrial Company. In September 2006, the company and its subordinate Hangzhou Cigarette Factory and Ningbo Cigarette Factory implemented a joint reorganization within the province, changing from three legal persons to one legal person, and from an administrative management company to a market competitive enterprise.
