In 1878, Mr. W. Mast founded the Yeg Company in Wolfenbitel, Germany, and in 1934, the company's heir, Mr. Curt Mast, created the unique Yeglique. This wine, which was originally exclusive to hunters, has not only gradually become Germany's "national wine", but has spread to more than 100 countries and regions more than 80 years later.
As a type of plant liqueur, the wild gar is made of 56 different plants, flowers, condiments and fruits from different countries. For example, cinnamon comes from ceylon, ginger comes from southern Asia, Pomeranzen comes from Australia, Rotsandelholz comes from East India, etc., and of course, it also includes some undisclosed plant ingredients.
Various additives are ground in different proportions, and then soak them in a mixture of wine and water with a concentration of about 70% for 2 to 3 days, so that the fragrance and color of the plant can be soaked into the liquid and dissolved. The process takes several times, lasting about 5 months, until all the fragrance and color are soaked into the basic ingredients of Jagermeister, and then stored in the oak barrel for a year. This basic Jagermeister component is finalized with wine, liquid syrup, carmel, and soft water, and then this plant liqueur with a concentration of 35%.
