Brand Introduction

Beijing Wangzhihe (Guilin Fermented Curd) Food Co., Ltd. was formerly the Guangxi Guilin Fermented Curd Factory. In October 1958, the public-private joint venture was transformed into a state-owned enterprise. In 2006, it cooperated with Beijing Wangzhihe Food Group Co., Ltd. to be transformed into a state-owned enterprise. It mainly produces four series of products: Huaqiao brand fermented bean curd, Xiangshan brand bean curd, Guisao brand chili sauce, and Huaqiao Yugu cooking wine.

The company is located in Lushan Industrial Community, Xicheng Economic Development Zone, Guilin City, with a factory building of 20,000 square meters. It has an annual production capacity of 310 million pieces of fermented bean curd, 500 tons of bean curd, 200 tons of chili sauce, and 650 tons of cooking wine. It is the largest fermented bean curd in Guangxi. The bean curd production company and the earliest cooking wine production company in Guangxi are the top ten condiment fermented bean curd brands in China and the vice president unit of the Guangxi Food Industry Association.

Guilin fermented bean curd was well-known 300 years ago and became famous during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. Yuan Mei, a famous poet and gourmet in the Qing Dynasty, recorded the words "The best white fermented bean curd in Guangxi" in his fermented bean curd chapter of Suiyuan Food List, and the "white fermented bean curd" mentioned in it is Guilin curd. In the early 20th century, there were several workshops producing fermented bean curd in Guilin City, among which the "Tianyizhan" store was the most famous. After liberation, public-private joint ventures were implemented, and the "Tianyizhan" store joined the "Guiyi" fermented bean curd production group formed by 7 workshops including "Zhang Shengji". In 1956, it combined with 5 production groups including Tang Shunji and established Guilin Liujian fermented bean curd production cooperative. ;In 1958, along with all fermented bean curd production workshops in Guilin City, it was merged into the state-owned Guilin fermented bean curd factory. Guilin fermented bean curd factory inherited the research and development of Huaqiao fermented bean curd; in February 1964, it applied to the State Administration for Industry and Commerce to register the Huaqiao fermented bean curd trademark; in 1979, "Huaqiao" was passed through the state Approved by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. Therefore, the industry has recognized Huaqiao fermented bean curd as an authentic representative brand of Guilin fermented bean curd.
