Qiaojiazha was founded in the first year of Xuantong in the Qing Dynasty (1909) and is a time-honored Chinese brand that is well-known both at home and abroad. It was named after the early opening of a branch on Qiaojia Road, the old town of Shanghai and decorated the store with wooden fences. Later, it moved to No. 336, Xiangyang South Road in 1940 and named it "Qiaojiazha Food Mansion". In 1993, "Qiaojiazha Restaurant" was named as a time-honored Chinese brand by the Ministry of Domestic Trade. In February 2001, Shanghai Qiaojiazha Food Mansion and Qiaojiazha Food Factory were restructured and established Shanghai Qiaojiazha Food Development Co., Ltd. After the reform, the Qiaojiazha and Qiaojiazha Restaurant (Qiaofu) brands were controlled by Shanghai Xinluda Commercial Group. In December 2006, "Qiaojiazha" was recognized as "Chinese time-honored brands" by the Ministry of Commerce.
