Through successful cooperation with local partners, Leonardo has a market share of 70% in China's "Helicopter Emergency Medical Services" (HEMS) field, 40% in the law enforcement field, and 30% in the VIP field. market share. In 2018, the company provided the first flight simulator with the aim of establishing an authorized training academy in China. In addition, since Leonardo established a joint venture in Jiangxi Province in 2004, he has become an industrial partner of China Aviation Industry Corporation (AVIC).
Aircraft structural components
Since 1996, Leonardo has been cooperating with Xi'an Aircraft Industry Company "XAC" (affiliated with China Aviation Industry Corporation) to produce section 16 and 18 of ATR72 and 42, as well as joint manufacturing of the rear ATR fuselage.
Air Traffic Control System
Since the 1980s, Leonardo has been providing China with air traffic control radar systems (ATCs) and VHF radio systems for air traffic control communications, and currently in use at more than 140 airports in China.
Aerospace Systems
