TOM is one of the earliest brands in China engaged in the design and sales of ukulele, and was founded in 2011. At the beginning of its establishment, the brand was mainly sold to Southeast Asia countries and regions such as Thailand and Taiwan. While the TOM brand was advancing to the international market, the ukulele craze also set off in mainland China, and the TOM brand was the first to expand the market to the domestic market. After continuous efforts and development, TOM has become a well-known brand in the domestic ukulele market.

When the TOM brand was first established, it did not have its own sole proprietorship factory. The initial development model was to cooperate with domestic factories to carry out mutually beneficial and win-win production and sales. This model laid the foundation for the early development of the TOM brand, but its limitation is that domestic cooperative manufacturers are gradually unable to meet the growing production demands of the TOM brand and the increasingly stringent product quality needs. In 2013, TOM brand invested in establishing its own sole proprietorship factory in Huizhou, Guangdong, a mid-to-high-end guitar production base in China. This is also a new beginning for the TOM brand to sail, which will lay a solid foundation for the future development of TOM brand.
