Shenzhen Radio, Film and Television Group (SZMG) was officially established on June 28, 2004. It is integrated by the former Shenzhen TV Station, Shenzhen Radio Station and other units. As of the end of 2013, the group had nearly 7.5 billion yuan in total assets and nearly 4.5 billion yuan in total revenue.

The group currently has 12 TV channels, 5 sets of broadcast frequencies and more than 20 industrial enterprises, with business scope covering advertising, network transmission and services, film and television content, new media, television shopping, cultural exhibitions, etc. Among them, Shenzhen Satellite TV has shown development momentum since it was launched on May 28, 2004, and has now ranked among the top ten provincial satellite TV ratings in the country. Tianwei Video (stock code 002238) was successfully listed in 2008 and currently has more than 1.1 million cable TV user terminals (2014 semi-annual report data). Urban United Network Television Station (CUTV) is jointly established by the group and more than 70 urban media across the country. It is China's largest urban radio and television content aggregation and new media communication platform.
