In the 17th century, during the Swedish rule, the village of Fiskars was a village gathered by a group of blacksmiths, producing iron tillage, nails, wire, knives, wheels, etc. A hundred years later, after introducing new technologies, Fiskars began to develop copper ore smelting, focusing on the manufacturing of copperware and copper ore mining. In 1822, Johan Jacob Julin from Turku , Finland bought the village of Fiskars and transformed the production direction to professional use of scissors and tableware ( knife, fork, spoon ), and then Julin began to run schools and build hospitals in the village to take care of workers.
