Brand Introduction

Starting in 1843, STANLEY has designed every tool with ingenuity for a century and has become the maker of industry standards. Its designs tools are born from professional craftsmen to help every project.

Mr. Frederick T. Stanley founded the Stanley Tools Company in 1843 in the New England region of Connecticut, USA. It was initially a company specializing in the production of hinges and other door and window hardware products. In 1857, Henry stanley established the Stanley Ruler and Level Ruler Company and began to produce horizontal and right-angle Rulers. In 1900, Stanley Ruler and Level Ruler Company became the world's largest manufacturer of woodworking planers and related tools.

In 1930, Stanley Ruler and Level Ruler Company became the world's largest manufacturer of woodworking planers and related tools. In 1936, Stanley produced his first homemade utility knife. In 1963, Stanley built the world's large hand-tool factory in New England, Connecticut. In the same year, the Power Lock series tape measure was added to the product. In 1999, Stanley released the Fatmax series tape measure and the Fatmax series shock-proof hammer. In 2015, the power tools under the Stanley brand were released. In 2021, the V20 lithium battery series will be launched.

STANLEY has been the official partner of Barcelona Football Club since the 2014/15 season, joining forces to protect every game. From its inception, Stanley was a company that was keen on creation, especially the birth of steel tape measure, which greatly changed the way people work.
