Arturia was founded in Grenoble, France in 1999 and is dedicated to developing excellent music software and hardware products for professionals and music lovers. The company cooperates with several research institutions (such as IRCAM) to apply the research results of computer music technology to its own products. As early as 2001, Arturia began to develop advanced algorithms to simulate the audio characteristics of virtual analog circuits using digital technology. Its core technology is called TAE (True Analog Emulation).
This technology was independently developed by Arturia's signal processing team. It successfully reproduced the classic tones of many legendary analog synthesizers on personal computers, such as Moog, Modular, Jupiter-8V, CS-80, ARP2600, etc. The company has always regarded innovation as the main direction of the company's core competitiveness and its own development strategy.
