ALTER is a Japanese humanoid product manufacturer, with the official Chinese translation of Alta, the original Japanese text アルター. He is not well-qualified but is famous for his super high quality since the start of the factory. He is now recognized as a manufacturer of figures with better quality. In 2007, Alta (Shanghai) engaged in the agency of Japanese humanoid products in mainland China. In 2011, it opened a direct store in mainland China on Taobao Mall. It is the earliest Japanese figure manufacturer to open a direct store in China.
ALTER's works cover various types of toys, such as moving humanoids, PVC humanoids, GK gypsum images, etc. In terms of character selection, ALTER's works are also very wide, including different types of characters such as animation, games, and comics.
Alta (Shanghai) Trading Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japanese figure company ALTER. It is mainly responsible for the exclusive direct sales of ALTER and its brand figure products in mainland China.
