Shenzhen Weidu Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (English name: Waydoo) was founded in 2018 in Shenzhen, which is widely regarded as China's Silicon Valley. It is a technology company focusing on the development, manufacturing and marketing of smart water sports hardware.
Waydoo is a passionate project initiated by Dennis Zhu, the founder of TXA, one of China's outstanding agricultural drone producers and is now partly owned by DJI, Waydoo has been on a trajectory of rapid expansion since its inception.
Thanks to TXA's solid technical foundation in structural design, fluid mechanics, electrical engineering, industrial design and manufacturing, the company's R&D team was able to launch the eFoil surfboard - Waydoo Flyer in 2019.
