Its winery is located in the Champagne region of Paris, France, and is one of the older champagne factories in the world. In 1805, Francois Clicquot, the male owner of the Clicquot winery, died unfortunately. His widow, who was only 27 years old, was determined to inherit her husband's career.
In 1814, Kage Champagne began to be sold to Russia and became the favorite of the Russian royal family. Kage has since left France; in 1986, Kage Champagne Brewery joined the LVMH Group; Kage Champagne has traveled to more than 120 countries around the world.
