Chengdu Bus Co., Ltd. (formerly Chengdu Bus Factory) was established in 1952 and was restructured into a joint-stock company in 2001.

The company is located in Chengdu Hyundai Industrial Port and has built stamping, welding, coating, assembly bus production lines and full-automatic inspection lines for complete vehicles. It has an annual production capacity of 8,000 medium and high buses.

In recent years, with the country's priority development of urban public transportation, urban-rural integration, and the in-depth implementation of the Western Development Strategy, through unremitting efforts, the company has achieved development and has become a large and medium-sized bus manufacturer with obvious regional advantages in Sichuan and the central and western regions.

In order to further integrate resources and achieve greater development of the enterprise. In 2012, the company successfully participated in the FAW Bus (Chengdu) Co., Ltd., and the two parties formed a close strategic alliance. The jointly built Chengdu Bus Production Base has formed a bus production capacity of tens of thousands of vehicles per year.

The company currently has many series of urban buses, road tourist buses, special school buses, new energy buses, etc. The lengths range from 5 meters to 18 meters. More than 100 varieties of bus products of different grades have entered the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's automobile product announcement.
