Schmincke's goal of inheriting four generations is to provide all kinds of colors that artists need when creating. In 1881, Josef Horadam and Hermann Schmincke jointly operated a business with their wives to develop traditional formulas and techniques for resin oil paintings that were about to be lost in the old century. The reason is that before the invention of metal hoses, the products were generally unable to be stored for a long time (if there was no tubular container storage.
