C Josef Lamy, the founder of the German writing tool brand LAMY, founded the Orthos F-üllfederhalter-Fabrik in Heidelberg in 1930, opening the prelude to the glorious history of the LAMY brand. In 1952, the emerging LAMY 27 streamlined ink pen, equipped with the "Tintomatik" system, was launched and demonstrated the company's innovative and keen sense of touch. In 1966, Gerd A. Müller finally created a refreshing modern classic - the LAMY 2000 series. The product combines polycarbonate and stainless steel, and its wonderful combination makes it stand out from the writing tools of all living beings. It still has an influential market today.
