Although in the early years focused on the manufacturing of bell sounds and fireplace clocks, Howard Miller also produced the trend-setting clocks at the Collectors Gallery today. During World War II, Howard Miller joined forces with Ford Motor Company to produce air defense covers. In the 1960s, the company turned its attention to the floor clock.
In 1989, Howard Miller began to create collector cabinets with the same attention to detail and in its inherent watchmaking process. From glass and hardwood pie, cabinets are ideal for displaying heirlooms, trays, glassware and other collections.
With the company's continuous efforts to make only fine handmade products, Howard Miller recently acquired part of three company clients: Hekman Furniture's well-crafted hardwood chips, a powerful range of replicas from the 18th and 19th centuries.
