Haofuton China's first factory was built in Shenzhen in 1988, and began to establish the Shanghai Songjiang factory in 2005 and will be headquartered in Shanghai. In 2007, AEA Investment Company acquired Haofuton and made a series of overall plans for Haofuton's development. In 2008, Stewart, another world-famous specialty oil manufacturer, successfully joined Haofuton. After acquiring Stewart Company, Stewart's facilities were converted into a technology research and development center for Haofuton in China. In February 2011, Haofuton International completed the acquisition of Shell's metal processing and metal rolling lubricant businesses. This acquisition is another important strategic investment of Haofuton, allowing Haofuton to better serve global customers and the entire metal processing industry.
