Shenyang New District Hongqu Cotton Textile Co., Ltd. was established in 1970. It was relocated to the textile park of Kangping Economic Development Zone in 2007. It was officially put into production in 2009. In 2013, it was transformed from cotton spinning to produce polyester sewing thread.

The company is a larger sewing thread production base in Northeast China, with a production scale of 100,000 spindles. It uses more advanced spinning equipment from the international and domestic markets, as well as 150 digital control system twisters, achieving high-quality and diversified products. The company currently has more than 700 employees, with an annual output of 9,600 tons of various sewing threads, and its products are sold to more than 30 countries and regions.
