The company began to be established in 1979, and the first phase of the project was completed and put into production on April 26, 1986. On December 18, 2002, the company completed the joint-stock reform work and established Fujian Furen Wood Industry Co., Ltd., with existing shareholders being Fujian Forestry Investment Development Co., Ltd. and China Forestry Industry Industry Co., Ltd., with the registered capital of the company of 157.18 million yuan, of which Fujian Province Forestry Investment Development Co., Ltd. accounts for 60% of the shares, and China Forestry Industry Corporation accounts for 40% of the shares.

Since the establishment of the company, the first, second and third phases of construction have been carried out. The first production line is a complete set of equipment for the medium-density fiberboard production line. It was introduced from the United States in 1982 and completed and put into production in 1986. It represents the international advanced level at that time and has been transformed through technical transformation. The current annual production capacity has exceeded 110,000 m3; the second production line is a continuous flat pressing medium-density fiberboard production line with the international advanced level in the 1990s. It was introduced from Germany in 1995 and has passed the technological reform. The actual annual production capacity has reached More than 100,000 m3, and was rated as an excellent technical transformation project by the state on the "Eighth Five-Year Plan"; the third production line is a composite structure microplate production line with an annual output of 250,000 m3, which was introduced from Finland in 2004 and was put into operation on January 26, 2006. Production, the particleboard of this project is a product and technology that the country is focusing on and encourages development, and has good international and domestic market prospects. At present, the annual production capacity of artificial boards in the Taijiang and Mawei factories in Fuzhou has exceeded 450,000 cubic meters. In addition, the company uses assets as the link to carry out mountain and sea cooperation with forest farms, mining farms, forest farmers, etc. through joint ventures, cooperation, controlling shares, etc., and targeted cultivation and construction of a 500,000 mu of industrial raw material forest base. In recent years, the company has also completed the construction of six high-tech and deep processing projects: First, it is responsible for the construction of the 863 Integrated Management System (CIMS) application demonstration project of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Second, with the support of the State Forestry Administration, the continuous rolling veneer production line project with an annual output of 6 million m2 was completed, one of the 948 projects in the country. The third is to complete the construction of the production line of melamine impregnated paper with an annual output of 6 million m2. The main products produced by the company include: "Fu Ren" brand medium (high) density fiberboard, laminated wood flooring, particle board, impregnated adhesive film paper veneer artificial board, impregnated adhesive film paper for decorative finishing, etc., and a relatively complete sales network has been established. , more than 500 distribution outlets have been established nationwide.

Over the past 20 years, Furen Company has achieved seven firsts in my country's artificial board industry: the first to produce medium-density fiberboard and develop thin medium-density fiberboard that fills the gap in China; the first to draft the "Medium-density fiberboard" country. In 2012, the group was established and renamed Furen Group Co., Ltd., which owns four major production bases, including Fujian Fuzhou, Fujian Putian, Fujian Shaowu and Hubei Jianli, 5 production lines, with a production capacity of 1 million m3.
