In 1921, Ernst Sacha founded the first special factory in Berlin, Germany to produce soldering irons. He connected his first two letters of his surname and name, named and founded the ERSA company, which was born.

Mr. Sachs handmade samples of the famous H-1 soldering iron, filed a patent in Germany, and then attended the Leipzig autumn exhibition. ERSA's H-1 is the first soldering iron used for large-scale production that has never been seen in the world. His products aroused widespread interest in Germany and overseas, and he received the first orders as a result. ErnstSachs has devoted himself to the management of the new company, demonstrating creative imagination and business forward-lookingness. He pushed the company into the track of sustainable development, developed product series, expanded production, and enabled the company to develop healthily and have a certain risk resistance.

ErnstSachs had to rebuild ERSA from scratch after World War II, and this rebuild was relatively easier because the power of his character was already well known to his customers and suppliers. It is worth mentioning that he has gained the trust of his workers. In 1953, his son Ernst Sacha, Jr began to help him. ERSA should thank him for replanning the company, transforming ERSA from a purely welding equipment manufacturer to a total welding solution provider and problem solver in the battery assembly industry.
