The roots of Aibaoshi Company can be traced back to 1925. That year, James Aubert founded the watch company James Aubert SA in the Jurass Valley region, which is famous as the center of watchmaking in the world. James Obert is an avid mechanical watch engineer who devotes his life to developing new watch movement mechanisms. He is an art master who devotes most of his energy to the technical development of the timing function and the minute countdown function.

In order to continue the traditional concept of the Swiss independent watch master, he passed on the technology he had learned throughout his life to his son-in-law Keane. Jean Fillon, who worked as a watchmaker at Aibo for a long time. Jean Fillon is the creator of many outstanding innovations that make Aiboshi brand so unique. In his research and development, many of the complex functions of Aibaoshi, such as time-hopping and standard pointer watches.

In the early 1980s, traditional Swiss watch manufacturing industry stagnated, and emerging quartz technology completely changed the structure of the watch industry. No one was willing to continue to produce mechanical watches except for some famous brands. Peter Huffer is an expert with extensive experience in the Swiss watchmaking industry and is also a firm believer in the future to be a member of mechanical watches. With this vision, he and his wife Erna decided to start their own company in 1983: Montres EPOS SA.

Keeping close contact with important figures in the Swiss watch industry and having a full understanding of the global watch market enables Peter Huffer to develop his own brand well. From the beginning, Hofer was supported by Jean Fillon, the driver behind many interesting innovations in Aiboshi. For 20 years, Hofer has remained true to its vision, combining numerous surprise features to develop excellent ABW watch products and maintaining close collaboration with Keen Feron.

In the early twentieth century, Peter Hofer looked for successors who could share his zeal for mechanical watches. He found them in the Chong-Forster family, a family with deep roots in the Swiss watch industry: Ursula Forster became the new president of Aiboshi, who came from a watchmaking family in Switzerland. Her husband Tamdi took over the position of CEO of Aiboshi and has been a senior manager in the Swiss watchmaking industry for many years.

In 2002, they took over Aibo from Peter Hofer, and since then they have been developing Aiboshi’s brand, expanding Aiboshi’s product portfolio, and expanding the brand around the world. Built on the long tradition and embedded knowledge of the enterprise, they have been committed to creating highly sophisticated mechanical works at reasonable prices, loyal to the company's slogan: Art watchmaking.
