In the spring of 1903 (the 29th year of the Guangxu period), the founder Ding Deshan set up a stall to sell halal snacks bean juice and cakes in the then famous Dong'an Market, taking the first step of hard work. A few years later, the Ding brothers set up a shop and put it on the signboard, meaning "From JD.com, everything goes well" and officially hanged the signboard of "Donglai Shun Porridge Stall".
In 1912, a fire broke out in the Dong'an market and the wooden shed was burned. After the market was rebuilt, Ding Deshan built three tiled houses in its original location and changed the sign to "Donglaishun Lat Restaurant". Donglaishun, which reopened, started its second entrepreneurship mainly by operating "explosive, roasted, fried, and shabu".
In the 1920s, Donglaishun improved the hot pot and other utensils for mutton hotpot, and became the leader of mutton hotpot in Beijing with its unique features such as "fine selection of ingredients, fine processing, complete seasonings, and strong firepower". catering companies.
