Hengdian Dongci was founded in 1980 and the joint-stock company was reorganized in March 1999. In August 2006, it was successfully listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The company is the rotating chairman unit of the China Electronic Components Industry Association, a leading enterprise in the national ferrite magnetic industry, the world's first photovoltaic module manufacturing enterprises to obtain low-carbon certification, and a national green factory.
