Founded in 1949 by Pierre Castel and his eight siblings in Bordeaux, France, the family always embraces the desire to share their love for wine with the world and bring high production. Quality wines meet the tenets of customers and consumers as family business.
The current leader is Mr. Alain Castel, the nephew of Mr. Pierre Castel.
Castello, a professional winemaker, originates from the mission of making French wine famous all over the world. Castello has its own independent production base, brewing center, and bottle and logistics platforms in the main wine producing areas of France.
Castello's winery owns more than 1,400 hectares of vineyards in France, with 21 family owned wineries, and also holds a 50% stake in Baishiweilongchuan Winery. In addition, Castello has also represented more than 200 French-ranked wineries.
Nicholas, a retailer under Castello, is a wine chain store established in 1822. There are nearly 500 stores in France.
Since entering the Chinese market in 1998, Castile has been committed to bringing French-style wine brands to the Chinese.
