The electric furnace institute was formerly a professional research institute engaged in the research and development of industrial electric heating equipment technology in China. It was established in 1963 and has been affiliated to the First Ministry of Machinery Industry, the Ministry of Machinery and Electronic Industry, and the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology. It was reorganized in 2007 and is now developed into a collective A professional technology company with full life cycle services such as technical consultation, research and development, design, complete sets, installation, training, production guidance, etc. The products are widely used in steel and metallurgy, machinery manufacturing, nonferrous metals, aerospace, nuclear power, new materials, chemicals and other fields.

The electric furnace station is the industry-level management unit of the national industrial heating equipment. The national electric furnace quality supervision and inspection center is affiliated with the company; the domestic electric furnace industry core journal "Industrial Heating" is sponsored by the company; the National Industrial Electric Heating Equipment Standardization Technical Committee, the Industrial Furnace Branch of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, the Electric Heating Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Electrical Technology and China The secretariats of the Electric Furnace and Industrial Furnace Branch of the Electric Appliance Industry Association are all located in the company. The Electric Appliance Industry Institute is also the vice president of the China Heat Treatment Association and the executive director unit of the China Electric Appliance Industry Association.
