Wrigley Candy (China) Co., Ltd., originated in 1989. Wrigley introduced the first sugar-free gum brand targeting young people born in the 1990s, a global large-scale chewing gum manufacturer.

The history of Wrigley products sold in China can be traced back to the 1930s, when Wrigley products imported from the United States and Australia were already visible in the Chinese market. In 1989, Wrigley Chewing Gum Co., Ltd. was established in Guangzhou (renamed Wrigley Candy (China) Co., Ltd. in 2005). Today, Wrigley is a household name in China and has 3 factories, 1 Asia-Pacific R&D center, 36 branches and more than 8,000 colleagues (including contract workers) in China.
