VISpring
The story of Vispring began in 1899, led by British engineer James Marshall to unveil the legendary chapter. While his wife was lingering in Canada, he made a set of coil spring-loaded mattresses wrapped in muslin for her. He developed design inspiration from his wife's comfortable smile.
However, this revolutionary mattress did not take root in Britain until 1901. The couple decided to commercialize the mattresses and founded the Marshall Sanitary Mattress Company in 1901, according to the proposal of John Nolon and Frederick James.
In 1911, ocean liner ships were popular travel choices. And here, Vispring unexpectedly received their first important orders. The first class and suites of the renowned passenger ships at that time, such as the Titanic and the flagship Olympic flagship, were equipped with Vispring mattresses. The comfort conveyed by the customized mattresses is better suited for the ocean trip, bringing passengers an excellent sleeping experience.
With the change of years and the upgrading of technology, Vispring's skilled craftsmen began to experimentally use novel mattress fillers. They introduced more precious natural fillers, including ponytail wool, pure cotton and Shetland wool, and even luxurious materials such as silk and Kashmir cashmere. In 1932, Vispring launched the world's first independent bag-spring mattress, famous for its luxurious sleep experience.
Today, Vispring operates in 50 countries and has more than 500 dealers. Vispring brings a refreshing sleep experience to more people with a broken-out momentum.
