Brand Introduction

When talking about Venum's story, we must not mention Dragon Bleu. In May 2004, Franck Dupuis founded a French e-commerce website specializing in martial arts and fighting sports in his small apartment in the outskirts of Paris. He hopes to get rid of the constraints of existing private distribution stores on the market and make people more easily and smoothly obtain sports equipment.

Franck's eyes were like a torch. He was one of the first people in Europe to foresee a trend that was sweeping over, and this tide of the times was today's mixed martial arts fight. He decided to import Dragon Bleu products from Brazil and put them online for sale, and was immediately successful. However, the Brazilian brand did not perform well in 2004 and 2005 and it was difficult to meet the growing demands of European customers.

Franck Dupuis received a good academic education and had a successful career in the IT industry as a sales manager, but in 2004 he decided to give up everything and embark on a passionate adventure. Franck wants to get rid of the constraints imposed on him by the strict corporate hierarchy, which is why he decided to start a venture.

Venum is an innovative brand that constantly pursues performance breakthroughs. The problem is not to recreate what already exists, but to drive change and continue to provide new experiences day after day. Snakes are strongly symbolic animals. They are full of vitality but often fatal dangers, which are both terrifying and charming. The name Venum refers to the venom injected when a snake bites a person. Replacing O with U is for visual harmony and balanced beauty. Since its inception, Venum has been very proud of this logo, which is undoubtedly closely related to the success of the brand.
