Brand Introduction

It all started in 1977 when a young entrepreneur named Hank Vander Laan and his partner acquired Trojan Metal Products Limited , a small company located in London, Ontario, Canada. .

Although the manufacturing metal toolbox is a pillar of Trojan Metal Products, Vander Laan's concern is that the company has the patent for a small UV treatment device dedicated to household tap water purification. He realized that UV has the advantage of being safer and more environmentally friendly compared to chemical water disinfection, and foreseeed the potential for large-scale application of this method. Shortly thereafter, the company began to develop an ultraviolet disinfection system for urban wastewater treatment and commercially beneficial. The transformation from small metal manufacturing companies to vibrant global companies that can solve complex water problems has begun.

In 1983, the company was reorganized into Trojan Technologies Inc. It was also at this time that the company won the first municipal sewage project in Fort Tilsong, Ontario, Canada.

Driven by early success, the company accelerated its R&D investment and began to develop a full set of UV systems for municipal sewage, industrial applications and small households.

Since 1999, Trojan has been committed to providing good products and services to domestic users. The company has installed thousands of industrial, household and municipal ultraviolet devices across the country. In fact, about 20% of China's sewage is being treated with Trojan ultraviolet (Trojan ) systems. Starting in 2007, water supply companies across the country have begun to use UV as an option in their various tap water treatment applications.

In 2007, the company installed two test devices to test the feasibility of UV in drinking water applications. The daily processing volumes of these two test devices are 25 cubic meters and 5 cubic meters respectively. The company monitored the treatment effect of these two systems on several microbial contaminants, including total bacterial colony count (TBC) , E. coli and Bacillus subtilis spores. The results show that when the ultraviolet agent required for traditional drinking water meets the requirements of ultraviolet agents, the inactivation rate of microbial pollutants exceeds 99.9%.
