In 1972, the Petter Planke and Tore Planke in Norway, in response to the request of a local store, explored and invented the empty drink bottle recycling machine, and took this opportunity to open up sales across Norway. Taolang Group was officially established with this starting point. Later, Taurang's automatic beverage bottle recycling machine was also widely welcomed in other European countries and the American markets.

In the 1990s, Tao Lang expanded his business chain and began to engage in the transportation, processing, regeneration and trading of empty beverage bottles, with business spreading in 46 countries and regions. He successively acquired several German companies engaged in cutting-edge sorting technology development, including TITECH, Orwak, Commodas and Ultrasort, and began to engage in mixed waste, mixed metals and minerals. The sorting further consolidates the product chain in the fields of resource recycling and environmental protection.

In 2017, Taurang acquired New Zealand Compac and BBC Technologies, two companies engaged in cutting-edge fruit sorting and grading technology development, achieving widespread entry in the food field.
