Shangwei Carbon Fiber Composite Materials Co., Ltd. (SWCFC) was established in 2015. It is a joint venture between Shangwei Holdings and Formosa Plastics Group, with a registered capital of US$19 million. As a joint venture, SWCFC combines the expertise and resources of both companies to lay a good foundation for providing global carbon fiber composite solutions.
Currently, SWCFC operates in Nantou, Taiwan and Funing, Jiangsu, and focuses on the development and production of resin, prepreg, thermoplastics, carbon fiber and glass fiber application products, and is sold to more than 30 countries around the world. Over the years, the company has become one of the three major blade material suppliers by providing technical support and material supply to the global wind energy industry (Vestas, SGRE, GE, Nordex), and has established rich expertise and experience.
SWCFC has an experienced R&D service team with rich material knowledge in resin and carbon fiber composites, has the core technology to produce high-quality products, and has strong support from Formosa Plastics, one of the global material suppliers, to provide A full set of carbon fiber supplies from conventional, medium and high modulus and large modulus.
