Shenyang Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the company") is a joint-stock enterprise established in May 1993 by Shenyang First Machine Tool Factory, China-Czech Friendship Factory and Liaoning Precision Instrument Factory. It is established in May 1993 and approved by Shenyang Municipal Economic System Reform Commission Shenti Reference Document No. 199231. In July 1996, with the approval of the China Securities Regulatory Commission’s Securities Regulatory Commission’s No. 1996112, RMB 54 million was issued to the public. After the issuance, the company’s total share capital was RMB 215,823,518 and was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The company is a subsidiary of Shenyang Machine Tool (Group) Co., Ltd.

Shenyang No. 1 Machine Tool Factory was founded in 1935. Over the past 60 years, after continuous technological transformation and technological innovation, it has now become the largest comprehensive machine tool manufacturer in China and a national CNC machine tool development and manufacturing base with the largest production scale. Since its production, the factory has provided nearly 300,000 metal cutting equipment to the domestic and foreign manufacturing industries, and is known for its excellent quality.

In 1997, the factory took the lead in the bid for the "Nine Five Key Science and Technology Research and Development" CNC machine tool industrialization project, and won the bid in one fell swoop, becoming a national key CNC machine tool production base. In the same year, the CAK series CNC machine tools produced by the factory were rated as a famous brand product in the machinery industry by the Ministry of Machinery Industry. The factory has now completed the transition from ordinary lathes to CNC lathes as the main product, and the output value of CNC products accounts for about 60% of the total annual output value.

Since 2000, the scale of the enterprise's economy has achieved rapid growth for seven consecutive years. Sales revenue increased by 11 times, and machine tool output increased by 11 times. The medium and high-end CNC machine tools have entered the core manufacturing field of national key industries in batches, and the CNC machine tools provided for automobiles, national defense and military industries, aerospace and other industries have accounted for more than 70% of the total sales of CNC machine tools; the company has the ability to provide complete sets of technical equipment for national key projects, and has provided 4 track beam processing production lines for Shanghai Maglev Train Project, marking that Shenyang machine tools have reached the international advanced level in the R&D and manufacturing capabilities in this field have reached the international advanced level; Chery Automobile has successfully provided four engine cylinder blocks and cylinder head production lines, marking that domestic high-end CNC machine tools have entered the core manufacturing field of automobile parts for the first time, thus ending the monopoly situation of foreign manufacturers in this field.

Since 2010, Shenyang Machine Tool Co., Ltd. has insisted on using new technologies and new materials to improve product quality. Its CNC tool holder branch uses microcrystal alloy LZA4205 worm gear special material to successfully replace ZQSn6-6-3 copper alloy, which further improves the quality of Shenyang machine tools and controls costs, greatly enhancing the product competitiveness of Shenyang machine tools.

At present, the Shenyang CNC Machine Tool Industrial Park has been relocated and has achieved professional reorganization. There are currently nine complete machine enterprises, namely: Shenyang First Machine Tool Factory, Zhongjie Machine Tool Co., Ltd., Shenyi Lathe Factory, Zhongjie Drilling and Boring Machine Factory, Shenyixi CNC Machine Tool Business Department, Zhongjie Vertical Machining Center Business Department, Complete Equipment Co., Ltd., Laser Technology Business Department, and Feidia CNC Machine Tool Co., Ltd. Through professional restructuring, business process reengineering and comprehensive informatization construction, Shenyang CNC Machine Tool Industrial Park will eventually become the modern and largest (single) CNC machine tool manufacturing base in the world.
