Shenhuo Group is a state-owned enterprise under Shangqiu City. It is a key coal enterprise and aluminum processing enterprise supported by Henan Province, and a member of the Thousand House Group of the State Administration of Taxation. The current total assets are 60 billion yuan, 13 direct holding and managing subsidiaries, and 26,000 employees. The subsidiary Henan Shenhuo Coal and Electricity Co., Ltd. (Shenhuo Co., Ltd.) was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on August 31, 1999.
The group is headquartered in Yongcheng, Henan, and its enterprises are mainly distributed in Henan, Xinjiang, Yunnan, Shanghai and other places. The Group is mainly engaged in coal mining and washing processing, power production and distribution, alumina production and electrolytic aluminum smelting, aluminum plate and belt foil production, as well as the research and development and processing of new alloy materials and high-end energy storage materials. The annual production capacity of the main products is: 12 million tons of coal, 2000MW of power generation, 1.7 million tons of electrolytic aluminum, 1.2 million tons of alumina, 420,000 tons of aluminum plate, strip foil and new materials processing, with a total annual output value of about 50 billion yuan.
