SEKONIC was founded in 1951 and was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 1963. It is mainly engaged in the independent research and development and production of vibration online viscometers, luminosity meters, temperature and humidity recorders, surveillance cameras and other products. SEKONIC has two production bases in China: Saikonic Electronics (Changshu) Co., Ltd. and Huizhou Saikonic Technology Co., Ltd. The company has obtained ISO9001 and ISO14001 certification.
The company's World Light Illumination Meter and Light Meter have entered the Chinese market for nearly 20 years. It has carried out sales and services in more than 70 major countries and regions, and has provided OEM services for some models of Konica Minolta. The company's vibration viscometer technical standards are adopted by Japanese industrial standards and were officially standardized as Japanese industrial standard JISZ8803 on May 20, 2011.
