Brand Introduction

The Schlage brand was founded in 1920 and is a large-scale industrial lock-making enterprise in the United States. Today, the Sylucci Schlage brand is well-known. In 1974, Sylucci Schlage joined the Ingersoll Rand Group. In 2013, Ingersoll Rand Security Division was split from the group and independently became the newly established Anlangjie Company. Schlage has become one of the important strategic brands under Anlangjie.

Brand Story

The founder of the company, Walter Schlage, was born in a small town in central Germany and was once known as the "Magic Locksmith of Thuringia". He is not only a master of mechanical technology and inventor, but also an adventure. Home. At the age of 14, Siloch was recommended by his father to enter the famous Carl Chase Optical Instrument Factory. During her four years of apprenticeship there, Silerchi learned to draw, assemble mechanical parts and engineer. My father owned a hotel in Thuringia. Every time Sirech looked at the passengers coming and going, he could not suppress his curiosity about the outside world. Finally one day, a strong desire for adventure drove him to leave Germany and go to London.

After a short stay in London for a year, he did not hesitate to board another steamship to the United States. After arriving in the United States, he found a job at the Western Electric Power Company, when ships traveling between Brazil, the West Indies and Central America. While recruiting engineers, Silechi successfully applied for the trip and embarked on the road of travel again. Eventually he stayed in San Francisco and joined Western Electric again.

The company's scale is growing rapidly, and Silechi leads workers to produce button lock products with all their might, which has brought huge changes to the door lock industry. As the company grew rapidly, businessman Kendrick also joined, which allowed the company's expansion to go smoothly. One was a very talented inventor and the other was a keen businessman. The two jointly established the "Silage Lock Company" in 1927. The legend begins here.
