The predecessor of Hubei Sanning Chemical Co., Ltd. is Zhijiang County Fertilizer Factory, which was founded in 1969. In 1993, it was a state-owned joint-stock company that was piloted and restructured into a state-owned joint-stock company, and in 2001, it reformed the private enterprise through the "two replacements". In 2007, Shanxi Jinmei Group, a state-owned super-large enterprise, was relatively controlled.
The two words "Sanning" are taken from "thinking three times, and moving with peace and bound toward far-reaching". "Thinking and acting three times" comes from Confucius' "The Analects of Confucius·Gongye Chang" in the pre-Qin Dynasty, which refers to repeated considerations and then doing it. "Transparent and far-reaching" comes from Liu An's "Huainanzi: The Master's Skills" in the early Western Han Dynasty, and Zhuge Liang's "Admonishing the Son" is also quoted. It refers to a stable and quiet mentality, not being influenced by distracting thoughts, and only by meditating and reflecting can we set and achieve lofty goals.
