PTR HARTMANN GmbH was founded in Germany in 1970 and specializes in providing PCB terminals and connector systems for the automation industry. Its products include: integrated connection, choke, interface block, wiring terminal, inductor, iron powder core, transformer, spring contacts, etc. , its products are widely used in many fields such as communications, medical technology, aerospace technology, and automobile industry.
In 1989, Swiss listed company Phoenix Mecano AG (Messtechnik GmbH). In 2018, PTR Messtechnik GmbH acquired HARTU, a German inductor manufacturer founded in 1985, and renamed PTR HARTMANN GmbH.

In September 2017, the Shaoguan Municipal Government and Mekano Group held a signing ceremony for the investment promotion project of Lechang Elkang Electronic Components in Nuremberg, Germany.
The electromechanical components, testing technology and customer customized inductor projects will be put into production in 2020.
