The rapid economic development of China has promoted the development of Panasonic's gate control business. Panasonic automatic doors were first officially entered China for sales through Beijing Sitong Panasonic Electric Co., Ltd., which was established in 1993; in 1998, automatic doors achieved annual sales of 49 million yuan in China; in 2000, it was established with an early investment of 100 million yuan in the industry. Domestic production base-SIMEW, started the Chinese manufacturing of Maidi series products; in 2002, Beijing Sitong Panasonic Electric Co., Ltd. transformed from a joint venture to a wholly foreign-owned enterprise, and the company name was changed to Beijing Panasonic Electric Co., Ltd.-BJMEW for short; 2005 The control business has invested and built a second domestic production base in Qingdao and began to engage in a new business in gated hardware; in April 2012, Panasonic Group was integrated internally, and Beijing Panasonic Electrical Co., Ltd. (PEWBJ) was changed to Panasonic Electrical Machinery (Beijing) Co., Ltd. ( PMFBJ).
