Opaman Weaving (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary established by Germany Opaman in China.
In 1848, German youth Edward Opaman began to spin webbing for the local furniture industry in his hometown, a small countryside in northern Germany. Forty years later, he learned the benefits of using steam energy and restored the factory and modernized it. The business has since flourished.
