Guangzhou Aoyi Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (OED) was founded in 2008. It is mainly engaged in the design, development, manufacturing and sales of electronic paper. It is currently one of the two electronic paper display suppliers in the world.

Electronic paper is based on the nanoscale microcapsule electrophoresis display principle, with the characteristics of environmental protection and energy saving, suitable for reading, lightness and flexibility. Its display is mainly used in electronic readers, electronic shelf labels, smart Internet of Things and other related low-power display fields. After years of hard work by the technical team, the company has successfully transformed this electronic paper technology into mass-produced products and applied them to multiple fields and products.

The OED headquarters is located in Nansha District, Guangzhou, with technical R&D employees accounting for 40%. The technical backbones are all from well-known universities around the world, and employees with master's degree or above account for 20%. The company has obtained ISO9001 international quality system certification in 2009. As of December 2022, a total of 409 domestic and foreign patents have been applied for, and 217 have been authorized. The company has established an intellectual property committee, which has an intellectual property department, and has established an intellectual property management system and process that complies with national standards.
