Nokia Corporation is a multinational company headquartered in Espoa, Finland, mainly engaged in the production and related services of mobile communication equipment. Nokia was founded in 1865 and mainly engaged in logging and papermaking. Later, it developed into a mobile phone manufacturer, focusing on basic communications business and advanced technology research and development and authorization.

On February 11, 2011, Nokia announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft in London, UK, abandoning Symbian and MeeGo. It adopts Microsoft Windows Phone system and will participate in the research and development of this system.

On April 25, 2014, Nokia completed a transaction with Microsoft's mobile phone business, selling its device and service business to Microsoft to exit the mobile phone market.

On May 18, 2016, Microsoft announced that it would sell Nokia's feature phone business to HMD and Foxconn's subsidiary Foxconn for US$350 million. Nokia also announced that it would authorize HMD to produce a new generation of Nokia-branded mobile phones and tablets, and HMD will own it in the future. Global exclusive license to manufacture Nokia-branded smartphones and tablets within 10 years.

On March 20, 2020, HMD held an online mobile phone launch conference in London, UK, and released four new Nokia products, including its first 5G mobile phone Nokia 8.3 5G, mid-range phone Nokia 5.3, low-end phone Nokia 1.3 and replica Feature machine Nokia 5310.
