Iceland LYSI (LYSI) was founded in 1938 with an annual output of 14,000 tons. Iceland LYSI Group has decades of operation and management experience. The production lines of the factory are specially set up according to the processing of different fish oil products. These procedures include: neutralization, bleaching, winterization, distillation, removal. Odor and standardization. Factory equipment is specially designed to reduce oil oxidation, and it uses natural means to remove the fishy smell of fish oil in finished product production.
The abundant fishery of the lakes around Iceland is an important source of Iceland's LYSI (Lyslixi) raw materials. In addition, the Icelandic LYSI Group also has a demand for importing raw materials and has established close commercial links with some companies in Norway, Faroe Islands, Thailand, Peru, Chile and Mexico. The headquarters of Iceland's LYSI Group is located in the capital Reykjavik. Exported consumer-grade products are packaged in the Reykjavik factory in Iceland's headquarters. These products are either sold under the LYSI's own brand or under customized brands. These clients are from the United States, Finland, Poland, Lithuania, Denmark, Russia, Germany, the Netherlands and other countries. In addition, the Middle East and Asian markets are currently under accelerated development.
Products sold by LYSI in Iceland include cod liver oil, omega 3 fish oil, cod oil, tuna oil, salmon oil, shark liver oil, fish oil concentrate and liver powder. These products are sold to manufacturers in the UK, India, Germany, France, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, China, Russia and Norway.
