Linak is a family-owned business founded with the desire to improve people's lives. Linac is developing high-quality electric linear push rod technology to improve people's lives, which can provide sports for many applications such as nursing, agriculture, industry, offices and residential.
The company is headquartered in the town of Guderup (Guzerup) in southern Denmark, and has established production plants in Denmark, China, the United States, Thailand and Slovakia respectively.
LINAK's founding dates back to 1907. In 1976, Christian Jensen's grandson Bent Jensen inherited the mechanical workshop he established. Shortly after he invented the electric linear putter for his friend’s wheelchair, he saw more opportunities and potential for putters.
In 1984, Bent Jensen changed the company name to LINAK – the short name of 'Lineær Aktuator'.
