Lay's is an American potato chip brand. It was founded in 1932 and has become a product of Pepsi since 1965. The Leshi brand has different name expressions in different countries, called Walkers in the UK and Ireland, Chipsy in Egypt, Poca in Vietnam, and Tapuchips in Israel.

In 1938, two young men from Santa Tonio, Elmer Doolin and Herman W.Lay of Nashville, who had been in the potato processing industry for many years, decided to get together.
