Lawrence Xu is a brand founded by designer Lawrence Xu. Laurence Xu graduated from the Department of Clothing Design of the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts and later went to Paris to study. Born in an architect family, he has had a strong interest in traditional Chinese culture since he was a child. Clothing design seems to be his innate talent. He made cheongsams and vests for his family when he was a teenager, and was addicted to it. This was also the beginning of his fashion design journey.
The combination of Chinese and Western style is his artistic style, adopting Western three-dimensional cutting, while the design elements are extremely classical and oriental. Integrate the heritage of Chinese traditional culture and match the spirit and temperament of Western free culture. His personal motto: let the gorgeous colors of clothing cover your own life path.
In 2013, after strict scrutiny by the French Fashion Association, Lawrence Xu took his "hydrangea" series of clothing to the runway of the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. This is the result of his long-term pursuit of clothing art. Once the costumes were exhibited, they wrote a rich and colorful stroke on the world's haute couture stage with his iconic personal style and rich oriental colors.
In February 2015, he appeared again at the Paris Haute Couture Show with his Dunhuang series. And all this is just the beginning, and Lawrence will bring more excitement to this stage.
