The founder of Leshen brand, Shen Mingda, was born in Shanghai's glasses family. The son inherited his father's business and traveled across the ocean in 2000. He studied at the Newman Eye Institute in Florida, USA. He then further studied in the ophthalmology department of Heidelberg University Affiliated Hospital in Germany for three years. After returning to China in 2006, I contacted a well-known ophthalmology chain hospital in China. I have been working in three years of experience in ophthalmology hospitals. I saw that the rate of myopia among Chinese people is extremely high, especially the low vision of students is worrying. The proportion of myopia in primary schools reaches 34%-61. %, 68% in junior high school, and 90% in junior high school. However, Chinese people went to ophthalmology hospitals for optometry, and only 11% of them used ophthalmologists and prescriptions to apply glasses. This number reached more than 95% in European countries, so they decided to leave. In 2009, the lashion Leshen brand was established and engaged in domestic chain glasses stores. In 2013, the company transformed into the e-commerce industry and convened a group of domestic optometry graduates, committed to promoting medical optometry.
