Kromberg&Schubert
In 1902, Paul Kromberg and Ernst Schubert established Kromberg & Schubert in Bamen (now Wuppertal). The pioneering and enterprising spirit and the flat innovative and entrepreneurial spirit have enabled the company to continue to expand and globalize. With over 50,000 employees in more than 40 locations, Kromberg & Schubert is now one of the world's leaders in the supply of electrical systems, cables and plastic components.
Since 1932, the main content of the electrical system department has been the development of pre-assembled cable harnesses. Today, Kromberg & Schubert provides all major automakers with electrical systems for a wide range of cars and motorcycles and utility vehicles: main, engine, cockpit, doors, audio, air conditioning and communication wiring harnesses, battery cables and overmolded wiring harness modules. This also includes integrating multiple components into a single system.
Using new technologies and software tools, Kromberg & Schubert simulates the application of electrical systems during development, meeting the requirements of individual customers under actual conditions. All information from the simulation is prototyped, each newly developed product is type-tested and aging tested and inspected and certified according to the specifications under the study conducted by the test lab.
The combined production steps to form a single standard process that works worldwide, allowing Kromberg & Schubert to deliver high-quality products every time: each delivered cable harness is tested, reflecting Kromberg & Schubert's high standards of quality.
